Drop off Service
You come drop off your knives at one of the following drop off/pick up locations. It is advisable that your knives are protected in an appropriate material such as a tea towel, newspaper, or box. Tape or rubber band them as necessary.

You post your knives to us. Please understand that we cannot take any liability for any loss, damages or personal injuries.

We come pick up your knives at your location. At this stage, this service is only being offered to commercial customers who require multiple (>10) knives sharpened. No need to be present at the appointment time. Please leave them somewhere safe and secure. Please understand that we cannot take any liability for any loss or damage of your knives and any incident associated with the knives outside of our service.

FAQ
No, we don't sharpen or polish katana. In Japan, katana are sharpened by katana sharpeners who spend years to master the art. They spend days and weeks to sharpen and polish one katana in the way they are supposed to be done. They are a different trade, so they don't sharpen other blades like kitchen knives that we do. We can technically sharpen them probably, but would like to respect their art and effort to continue their tradition.
We don't sharpen weapons. We will not sharpen any blades that are designed or intended to be used as a weapon. We only sharpen blades that are used for a lawful purpose.
Please contact us first, so that we are not getting items that we may not be able to help you with. Dropped off or posted items that you have not informed us may also cause issues such as being lost and delayed.

You can make a bundle of knives like below and post them in a postal tube, large satchel, or box. A postal tube would only take a bundle of one or two knives. A large satchel, e.g., 375 x 550 mm, would take about a bundle of up to about 5 knives. A box can take many. It's just a matter of finding a right size for your bundle.
First, make a bundle of knives
- Wrap your knives in a sheet/s of paper individually.
- Twist the top of the paper and tape it, so that it protects the tip of the knife.
- Wrap the knives in a tea towel/s, twist the top and tape it tightly.
If with a postal tube, put the bundle in a postal tube and fill the gap with things like bubble wraps.
If with a satchel, reinforce the bundle with a piece of timber and tape it tightly. Put the bundle in a satchel. Make a roll from the satchel and tape tightly.
If with a box, put the bundle in the box and fill the gap with things like bubble wrap. Reinforcing the bundle is recommended.
