The Hatsukokoro Yorokobi knife series is a breathtaking masterpiece that combines utility and beauty, crafted for both professional chefs and knife collectors. The copper-layered Damascus finish adds a touch of elegance to the knife. 

SLD steel is a semi-stainless steel developed by Hitachi Metals and holds an edge as long as carbon steel but is easier to maintain. While it isn't completely stainless, it requires proper cleaning and drying.

The thin kiriha bevels create small secondary bevels that experience minimum pressure at the cutting edge. The slightly concave kiriha bevels create a razor-like knife and help maintain small secondary bevels over a series of sharpenings.
